Who doesn’t love the smell of chocolate, I know I sure do. Today, I’ll be sharing my delicious chocolate oreo brownies recipe! The following ingredients are what you’ll need :
– 1 and 1/4 (140g) sticks of Unsalted Butter
– 1 and 1/2 cups (300g) of (white) Granulated Sugar
– 3/4 cups (75g) of Cocoa Powder
– 1/4 tsp of Salt
– 2 Eggs (cold)
– 2 tsp of Vanilla Essence
– 1/2 cup (60g) of Plain/All-Purpose Flour
– 1/2 cups (90g) of Chocolate Chips
– 16 Oreo Cookies (whole)
– 3 Oreo Cookies (chopped)
In a microwavable mixing bowl, throw in your butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Place your bowl into the microwave and microwave it for 2 minutes or until your butter has fully melted. After it has melted, take it out of the microwave and mix everything together until it has fully combined. Throw in your eggs and vanilla essence into the bowl and mix until well combined. Pour in your flour and mix it until there are no clumps and the mixture is smooth. After everything has been mixed, throw in your chocolate chips to be mixed into your batter.
Get your baking pan (20cm/8″), spray it with cooking spray and place a baking sheet in the pan. Throw half of the amount of your batter evenly into the pan, then you place your (whole) Oreos in rows on top of the batter. Once you’ve done that, throw the other half of your batter into your pan over your Oreos. When everything has been nicely covered, you can take your chopped-up Oreos and sprinkle them on the top.
Preheat your oven 180*C (356*F) for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, place your pan in the oven and let it bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or when you stick a toothpick in and it comes out clean. Take out your pan and let your brownies rest for 10 minutes to cool down.
After 10 minutes it’s ready to serve, going on nicely with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Just like that, you’ve made yourself brownies no one can resist!
