Churros, the best dessert to enjoy during the winter. They’re crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and they have a flavour no one can resist! I’m going to share the most amazing churro recipe that is to die for. The following ingredients that you’ll need are:
– 1 cup (240ml) Water
– 2 tbsp (30ml) Brown Sugar
– 1/4 tsp of Salt
– 1/2 of Unsalted Butter
– 1 tbsp (15ml) Vanilla Essence
– 1 cup (240ml) Flour
– 3 eggs
– cooking oil
– Cinnamon sugar
Place a pot on your stove on medium heat. Pour your cup of water, brown sugar, salt, and butter into your pot and stir until the mixture has been dissolved. After your ingredients have dissolved, let your mixture come to a boil. Pour in the vanilla essence and stir. Throw the flour into your mixture and start stirring, the mixture will start to form a dough-like ball, keep stirring until there are no flour clumps left.
Take your dough and place it into a mixing bowl and let it cool down. After it has cooled down, crack your eggs one by one, mixing it with the dough until it becomes more and more sticky. After all 3 eggs have been mixed into your dough, you can start filling up your piping bag with the dough.
Place a pan on the stove and then pour cooking oil to about one inch (2.54cm) full. Turn your stove on to medium heat and let your cooking oil get hot. After it has become hot, you can start squeezing the mixture out of the piping bag as long as you want them to be and cut the ends with scissors or nip them with your fingers. Make sure you turn it around every few seconds and keep a close eye on them until they get nicely golden brown. When they get golden brown, take them out and place them in your cinnamon-sugar mixture so they get coated with all the sugary goodness. There you have it, you’ve just made mouth-watering churros.
